My Next Drum & Bass Thing...

I've been listening to a lot of liquid dnb recently, and well produced tracks at that. The deep bassline sounds that I've enjoy on these tunes made me want to look through my own archives and see if I had anything that's similar.

Thankfully, I have a few with a deep rumbling bassline that creates a foundation for the other parts of the track to float on top.

I think I'll definitely need to look more in to how to produce those cleaner sounds like the professionals before I can go to the next level but I've been happy with "good enough" for a while now.

There was a time when the perfectionist in me wouldn't dream of allowing tracks to be finished but finishing tunes off and moving on to the next one is a habit that I've tried to nurture a bit more.

As time goes on, you can always go back to those older tunes anyway and fine tune them!

So with that in mind, today's tune is a remix I did of an older house track from another artist a few years ago, which the label I did the track for liked and it got featured by another liquid dnb label in a radio show which was humbling!

I'm not sure how much longer I'll be posting here for as I can't keep up with the daily posting much longer - every day so far this year has been a challenge but things are happening outside this all which is taking away my time to make newer music so may have to forego posting but we'll see

Ah I do hope you keep posting. At least a couple of times a week.
I do understand though. I struggle myself sometimes to keep it up.
But I would so miss the community on here.
Really hope you keep sharing you awesome tunes with us Nicky xxxxx

Thanks Aishlinn, we'll see how it goes, I've posted every day this year so far so may try to keep it up, I've been through a dark phase this year but the support on the music I've been sharing has kept me going!

Daily posting is infinitely easier if you're just writing. As soon as you start adding anything else in beyond maybe a snapshot it starts to get really taxing (least it did for me with normal life stuff, and all I was trying to do was a pretty quick sketchy). I always recommend artists in particular try for roughly weekly if they're trying to keep to some kind of schedule (or a couple of times a week if they want more frequency) particularly to avoid burning out.

Hope there's nothing majorly bad going on?

Yeah that's true, I guess if you can somehow schedule posts when you're on a roll and can get those prepped, it could be an option. I need to get some themes going to make it a little easier to help with the daily posting. It's just to get that hivebuzz badge achievement but might not be worth the burnout!

There's major things going on, some good, some bad, some I have no clue what they are until more unfolds! So I'll just keep posting Dnb and hope it sorts itself out :)

I love hivebuzz and I understand the logic but that daily streak badge ticks me off no end XD

Hope things sort themselves out!
