Liquid Drum & Bass - Forest Cry
Well, it was a lovely day out in the woods today with the weather playing ball and I managed to embark on a 15 mile hike, which ended up in a bit of a worn out hip after I got out the car.
It's by far the longest distance I've walked this year but it was good with the walking group and we had a long stretch where we were walking through woods which made me want to share this forest based Drum & Bass track I made called Forest Cry.
The track itself has no real story behind it other than I found a synth called "Forest Cry" in my music software and it sounded really lovely when I first heard it, if not a little dry in nature.
Then I added so many effects on it that morphed in to a different sound altogether and you can hear the morphing throughout the track as I played around with the settings.
The drum beat is all my own doing as well and for the first time, I didn't use any sampled loops for this which made me feel even better as it almost sounds professional 😂
