Dance Weekend - Brand New Drum & Bass - Music Box

Yes yes crew! It's time for some brand new music in the form of drum & bass, inspired by the music box!

This one was initially inspired by a brand new music synth I found in my software (well, it was new to me at least) which was actually called Music Box and there was a little animation of a dancer that moved around when you started playing some notes - it was pretty rad!

Then I stumbled across a nice little chord sequence that you hear around the 2:12 mark, which changes the vibe of the track to a slightly darker one after a relatively happier, upbeat vibe.

I guess the reason for that was music boxes always kinda made me feel a bit spooked out, maybe it was due to watching too many scary movies where there were the sounds of a music box, that twinkling melody sound they created before something terrible happened.

In any case, @gabrielatravels did another really cool design for the artwork on this one, it's probably my favourite with the contrast between the colours, darkness and the light, reflecting the changing moods of the track.
