A Laser Engraved Majora's Mask Box Project

As a fan of the Legend of Zelda games, I have used the art for a lot of the practicing with my laser engraver. Just simply as I needed images to play with and adjust settings around.

I'm still figuring all this out..

I've never been much of what you'd call a "hardcore gamer" but in the late 90's I began an adventure to help save Hyrule and I fell in love. Ocarina of Time has been my all-time favorite since.

Is what it is.

A friend recently learned I now have this laser and saw some of my scrap pieces with various Zelda art on them. Instantly he was asking for me to make him something as well.

Hell yeah, a project to practice with the acrylics!

Now, I've never actually played Majora's Mask.. It happens to be his favorite however, so of course he asked for that one. I really hope eventually I'll get a chance to experience it for myself but until then, engraving it is just as fun!

It was engraved on a small craft box from the dollar tree, one of the many I keep stocked for shits and giggles. I stained it beforehand, acrylic paint after engraving.

(and after some air duster because that char though)

I just went with the game text on the front, in that Zelda font.😎
Keeping it simple and clean, and also per request from my friend.
So there were no logos, names, or any of the sort added.

Cool with me, I like simplicity and minimalism.

All around I'm happy with the result. My friend was very happy with the new Zelda box he now owns. I may use more Zelda artwork on future projects, who knows?

Most likely for myself, unless someone else asks!

Thanks for reading!
