The first post, a new community
Good morning everyone and I’ve done it, I’ve created my first community on Hive! If you’ve followed me for awhile, you will know that I have an interest in electronic music and especially enjoy crafting sounds with my iPad and some choice hardware gear. I started building the big AUv3 Guide under the Music community and sometimes my personal blog but have got to the point of expanding beyond that - This is a niche that deserves it’s own place on the chain.
So here we are. I’m going to start by moving my pinned post against my personal profile into this community.
You can get involved!
The aim is to gather sound be it electronic, acoustic, vocal, natural world - your posts are welcome.
Will there be curation posts? Contests? Prizes? Tokens?
Quite possibly; in time. Let’s pin our flag into the ground, build the foundations and grow from there.
OK, Nick ... I'm in there ... I collect birdsong and I am playing around in Audacity nowadays ... Had to make an alien scream so I wrote of piece of music on one end of my computer and then put it through some things ...

That is in a Halloween week series of posts ... I actually wrote out the range of that scream in my sheet music writing program, and then went into vocoder and Paulstretch in Audacity and put some echo on ...
Meet the Suliibruum Fly, and I'm working on the Angel now ... again, I scored this, and then threw on bass end and some echo and reverb ...
Well I’m super impressed and Paulstretch is a phenomenal tool. Though I haven’t used it all that much myself so far but maybe should try it out for use with my Roland SP404 sample building process.
I highly recommend it... probably going to employ it again for the end of the Suliibruum series!
