It’s a beautiful part of the world, I’m always itching to go back there, was only there the September before last. I had no idea about the explosives factory though, how fascinating. The Pendulum sounds quite the responsibility!

It was a nice discovery for me. Obviously the locals know all about it. A lot of local industry has gone, but adventure sports are big here now.
I know people who canoe the Straits with its tides. People who walk Grib Goch and Zip through old slate mines
