Stacking summoners while they are cheap.

The game never ends.

I'm doing a little bit of restructuring for splinterlands. I showed in my last post here,

https://inleo.io/profile/niallon11/blog

How many different way there are to earn tokens and money on Splinterlands. I stick by that sentiment but some of them are more fun than others. Personally I don't enjoy land in it's current format. I have plots and won't be selling them but I don't have much fun deploying resources and trying to produce items.

For me it's all about battling and deck building. I've noticed that card prices are cheap at the moment so I'm taking an opportunity to stock up with some extra options and from powering down my land DEC I had some funds to play with.

Now I hadn't planned on going gold again but I do have some very nice golden beta summoners and never regret having more gold options for tournaments and for extra SPS in survival mode.

When I was some of the chaos legion cards at a low price I couldn't resist and bought some nice shiny summoners.

Four gold summoners and a legendary summoner.

I already had the chaos summoners in regular foil but at less than $25 each I said it was worth it for all the gold battles that it will help for.

I also take the gold fray in my guild brawls so it will help with my win rates. Gold tournaments are often very rewarding as a lot of people have some gold cards but not a complete collection. The new summoners cover all the splinters when i added a "Kelya Frendul" shortly after.

I already have a maxed out "Drake" but when I see a limited card on sale for $3 I wanted to stockpile a few for the future. I have 13 of 770 copies with more to come if they are this low again.

"Brighton Bloom" will be very helpful in the earthquake ruleset which comes up an awful lot for me. Having that card opens up so many new strategies being able to use an card without penalty going forward.

Time to move up the ranks.

For an account as old as mine and with as much CP as I have it's a disgrace that I'm still struggling to reach into Champion levels. I do manage to reach Champion III every time or even II some seasons but that's not enough any more. I want to be challenging even higher and try to get into Champion I again. I did manage this back in the old days but collections are so varied and their are so many players that it has become a real challenge to get up near the top of the ranks again.

That's the way it should be so it's entirely up to me to improve my deck and to get competitive again. This is only the start of the process but I've been selling off some extra cards that have been sitting there for a long time in favor of more maxed cards and more options.

Summoners are my main goal for now as they have the most effect on strategy and win rates. Having the right summoner for the right ruleset is half the battle. Other cards can be switched and swapped but having a card that effects your whole lineup is the most important part of the puzzle so having more options means more chance of winning and better results.

I've added a lot of other cards this week as well but nothing as exciting or as important as the ones above. More just filling gaps in my deck.

Try for yourself.

If you haven't played the game before then now is the best time to join. Today is much better than tomorrow and a lot better than later.

While other web3 games are failing on all sides, Splinterlands has been here for seven years and going strong.

I don't mind it. I just stack the sps from survival mode and it gets there in a few days.
