When Broke Hits Different: My Personal Take

Money say say us the root of all evil but it’s the same root of all evil that solves most of our problems today. Most of the things we do today require money whether we like it or not. Money can take you places, give you opportunities. Some people say money isn’t everything, but to some extent it is and it’s only when you don’t have money you will understand how important having money is.

Growing up, it was really common to hear the sons of ladies say that women like money. But what else are we supposed to like.😂 We can’t do away with money and so it’s best we love it and pursue it as much as we can. I love money and I’m sure you also do. However, there are so many instances where we all run out of money. Sometimes it can be due to over spending and other times we just don’t have it.

But when we speak about broke, everyone has his definition of broke. I’ve always been a saver because I believe that emergencies can come up anytime and on days when you don’t even expect them to. I don’t want to be found wanting on such days and so I make sure to save any little amount of money for rainy days. I usually tend to be in Avery bad mood when I sense that I’m going to be broke because I automatically start thinking about all the struggle I will have to go through. Me being broke doesn’t necessarily mean I don’t have even a dime which is some people’s definition of broke.

Me being broke is probably when I don’t have a certain amount of money just sitting there or up for spending. As a lady, you should always have your own money and also some more. It doesn’t hurt to have more than you need. Once I feel I don’t have more than I need, I just know I’m broke because if I spend all the money I have on what I need, what then would be left? Nothing.

Then again, someone will say being broke is a state of mind and bla bla bla. Try not having enough money for a day and come back with your testimony. Being broke doesn’t feel good and so everyday, make sure you’re working towards making more money.
