The Last Mile: Finishing 2025 with Purpose

This year has to be one of the fastest years I’ve ever had to experience in my life so far. I can’t believe we just started the year about two days ago and we are already looking forward to ending the year in a few months time. How time flies.

The good thing about this year is the fact that I decided to try something different. Something different in the sense that, I’m that one person that always plans everything to the minutest detail. It can be bad sometimes but that’s what helps keep me on track of a lot of things that I do in my life and know if I’m going forward or being stagnant. At the beginning of the year, I decided if it was necessary to plan every little thing. So I was like hey, why not just go with the flow and let’s see how things go.

And that’s exactly what I’ve been doing. Aside major things on my life that I obviously will plan towards and make plans to achieve, I’ve been taking everything else a day at a time and I can say it’s been the best experience I’ve had so far. Having to wonder how this or that will turn out can be really hard sometimes but I love the thrill.

As we find ourselves almost ending the year, I look back today and I’ve seen how far I’ve come. It hasn’t been rosy but the good obviously does surpass the bad. I’ve achieved very great milestones over the course of the year, and not forgetting all those rejection emails that pop up once in a blue moon. At the end of the day, I know that I at least have it a try and it brings me so much peace. As I said, the year hasn’t been all rosy, I’ve lost loved ones, had to let go of people and things in my life and all these weren’t easy for me, but it had to be done for my own personal growth. This year has taught me a lot of lessons and one of them is the fact that everyone is selfish and so it’s totally okay to look out for yourself when necessary. Life keeps getting tougher and everyone is eager to win. Some people wouldn’t mind having to pull you down to rise up and that’s life for you. Just make sure to watch your back at all times.

In the coming months, I look forward to so many great and wonderful things. I aim to end this year in a grand style, I’d probably buy a private jet or something.😂 The next few months look busy for me but also fulfilling. I have a lot going on, so many goals to achieve, things to try out and so on and I’m just giddy about it all. Overall, I look forward to ending the year feeling fulfilled and happy as always.
