Still Evolving: Where Is Humanity Headed?
Away from the biological aspects, looking at our behaviors over the years, we can see that a lot has changed about us all. As the years go by, we tend to outgrow the lives and conditions we are living in and start craving for better conditions. With this mindset and thinking, we have been able to develop our world to the point that is is now. Thanks to human evolution, we can boast of high grade technology , the internet, and many more developments which constitute to making life easier for us all.
Evolution can be both good and bad and when we talk about evolution environmental I wouldn’t say we have evolved the right way. Talk about climate change, we would say we don’t know how we got here but we got here after years and years of neglecting our environment and not taking good care of it. Our roads today are flooded with rubbish , our drainage systems are very poor leading to frequent flooding, especially in the rainy seasons, there’s bush burning all around us and all these have contributed to us fighting climate change today. As a result of climate change, some parts of our word today experiences severe droughts which lead to famine while other parts of the world experience flooding ,putting lives and livelihoods at risk.
But, the good part of all this is that humans will keep evolving till thy kingdom come and so there’s hope for us. The same problems we have created, we will find ways to solve them. The fight against climate change has long started and there are millions of individuals and movements taking part in the fight for the betterment of our world today. Also, with the advancement of technology, humans have to find a way to adapt to the current developments, especially with the introduction of artificial intelligence. A few years ago, we had artificial intelligence being introduced to us and people were scared that AI was going to take over their jobs. What they didn’t know was that AI was here to stay. Now, everyone is adopting different ways and means to earn their keep in a world of over reliance on AI.
As the years come by, there are many more things humans will have to adapt to in this world and this is just the beginning. In some years time, we will all look back and realize how much we have evolved as individuals and a world as a whole.

This is just one beautiful piece I've read today, very well articulate, true I really I've been wandering at the evolution is mind blowing especially biologically , my junior brother is way taller than I am, broader shoulder and it has been for almost every family....the kudzu of these days are something else 😆.... apart from that science and technology are constantly thriving hard with innovations every single day this healthy competition is what brings about the constant evolution in technologies etc....it's still up to us to fix whatever mess we have created by degradation of our environment
