Some Chapters Didn’t Close This Year- And That’s Okay.
I get shocked when kids pass by and greet me or call me aunty because when did we get here? Just yesterday, I was like them and today they’re looking up to me. What a world! This year, unlike any other over the last 4 years is fast ending and in a few weeks time. It was just yesterday we were wishing each other a happy new year ans before we know it, we are back at it again. But that’s the beauty of life .
This year has been one of the best years of my life. As I always say, we need to hope for the best and work for the best because life is worth living the right way and doing the right things. Personally, I always feel good when I’m able to put in the work to achieve a result, even if it takes years. For so long, I’ve been working on so many things which I never thought would turn out well. But the mere thought of giving up kept me going and this year, most of the stuff I had been working on for so long turned out well. And I was happy and still am.
Over the last 11 months , what I have been able to achieve has been nothing short of great. I’ve had my downfalls, but I learnt from them and celebrated my wins because I worked extremely hard to achieve them. As much as I have a lot of things I want to do by the end of the year, unfortunately it isn’t possible to do everything due to my schedule. For others, I’ve already done so much this year and should be wrapping up for the year but to me, there’s a lot that can happen in the next month.
If there’s one thing that has been on my to do list this year that I haven’t been able to achieve, it is to travel. I love travelling an exploring, whether it’s for business or a vacation, I make sure to use it well.This year, I had plans to travel to at least one country because what is life without travel. I did have so many trips to go on this year, but it broke my heart to have to say no to all of them because I have so much to attend to here. Just last week, I had to travel for business purposes , but due to my busy schedule, I had to let a colleague step in. This was a trip I looked forward to a lot but at the end of the day, I had to prioritize other things.
Next year, hopefully I am less busy and able to travel as much as I can. My plan for now is to cover up a lot to stuff I’d have to handle next year so as to create much time for other stuff.

At this point, I feel like everyone’s schedule is just crazy. And we better start adjusting them before they rather start adjusting us.

STOPNo matter what happens, I love to count every year as my best year because if you didn't achieve, at least you learned. Time is moving crazy fast and however it is, we keep doings the things we can at the moment and leaving the others to convenient times.
