Showing Up & Spreading Love

There’s so much love to give others in this world. As individuals, we all have people we care about and love. It may be our family, friends, partners, and even people we speak to.😅 Funny enough, I know people who stay away from others because they care to much about them and they think it might ruin them.

Personally, there are many people I hold very dear to my heart. I barely talk to some of them because everyone is busy with their own stuff but we make sure to check in once in a while. Despite all of this, I know within my heart that I still care about these individuals whether I get to talk to them all the time or not.

Showing others you truly care about them shouldn’t be a difficult thing for anyone if they actually mean the world to you. Take my younger sister for instance, I love her so much because she’s always got my back and is always ready to support whatever weird idea I come up with. We haven’t seen each other for over a year now but we do talk on video call all the time. I know she loves money because who doesn’t.😂 She’s growing and I know she wouldn’t want to ask our parents for everything so, in my own little way, I show her I care about her by sending her money, internet data and gifts when I can and she’s always happy when she gets these gifts.

There are a billion and one ways you can show your love and care to others. It shouldn’t just be limited to gifts. I love to communicate with people I care about. I always make sure to make time for us to talk because who knows what might be going on with them. Most people out there are going through a lot and all they need is someone to be there for them. Even if you can’t do much for them, the best you could do is give them a listening ear. I know how it feels to have no one to listen to you and so I try to always be there for people I care about.

Words they say have the power to heal. It doesn’t take a minute to leave your loved one a message which would make their day. I’m that person who would paste your little note you wrote for me on my wall for the rest of my life. Words are powerful and carry a lot with them. Instead of ignoring that person you care about because you don’t have money to get them a gift, just leave them a little message and you’d be glad you did that.

Also, surprises always do the magic. Who doesn’t like surprises? Maybe just me.😂 I love to plan surprises for my loved ones because I love to see their facial expressions and reactions. If I get to record them too then that’s even a plus, a life of countless memories is really worth it because you never know what might change tomorrow.

It only takes a little gesture to make someone’s day. Love can be expressed in so many ways and you can be the reason someone smiles today. 😅❤️
