It’s not too late to give up on your dad. You need to keep reminding him of the negative effects of self medication. Hopefully, one day he will put a stop to it.
One you start taking a particular drug for long, your body develops resistance to it and that be why most at the you think the drug doesn’t work for you. Seeking medical help is the best way to go instead of self medicating.
