Preparing Children for the New-Age Economy

Money is a very important thing in life if you ask me. Money is the solution to most of our problems aside the fact that it stops nonsense and there’s no denying that. Hell, money even serves as a mood booster - if you know what I mean. If you frequent social media spaces just as TikTok and facebook, you’d have most likely come across the youth in most comment sessions under money making posts asking for ways to make money. This is the life of most of the youth today. We are told to go to school and learn hard to become comfortable in life.

However, at our age now the only we have is our certificates. We were taught book knowledge but not street knowledge. Most of the youth today have the knowledge to do anything they wish, but how to monetize it out there is the problem. I’ve been there before. Then, I was told there’s a lot of money in the system and I just needed to be in the right rooms. What they forgot to tell me also was how I needed to make those hard decisions, take risks and do what hasn’t been done. And that’s exactly what I did.

Where I come from, most of the youth are struggling financially because the system is working against us daily. The rate of unemployment in my country has shot to the moon and we are left with little to nothing to rely on. The business market is now also saturated as everyone is an entrepreneur. So now, how you make it in life has to do with what makes you stand out of a million people with the same skills and qualifications as you.

Speaking of cryptocurrency and forex trading, it’s one of the faster growing industries to make money in recently. It’s very tough to find your way around it but what I do know also is that, it can be your breakthrough in this life. Then, most people had the perception that cryptocurrency was a scam and all of that but thanks to education, everyone is starting to embrace it now. Should our kids be taught cryptocurrency and forex trading in school? Hell yes! I mean I’d vote double for this cause because honestly, school isn’t always about how to read and write.

Our kids need to know what the outside world looks like and he equipped with everything they can lay hands on to make life easier for them. Teaching them the concept of crypto at a young age is like building them up for a brighter future because they would have so many ways and mean to build themselves and be financially stable. As hard as we think crypto is, you’d be surprised at how easily these kids would pick this up with their smart brains. This is how we should raise our kids- book smart and street smart. For a better and financially smart world.
