One Risk. One Year. One Story.

All these experiences are what shape us into who we are and who we aim to be in the future. As they say, why doesn’t kill you makes you. For me, 2025 was a bittersweet year if I’m to be honest. The year started roughly, and then it kept on getting rough and tougher which I became used to over time because I knew I had a goal to meet. Then , everything started to fall in place. All the hard work and sacrifices started to pay off. The year ended very well for me and really look forward to making the best out of the new year.
As you’d probably know by now, I’m a huge risk taker because I believe that life itself is a risk and so why not just go for it. In 2025, I took so many risks which I didn’t think would turn out well. But among the lot, the one that i really put my all in was when myself and my colleagues at my company made a decision to bet our all on our company. We invest our monies, went months with little to no sleep and put in all the work we could. Suffering cannot even describe what we went through during this phase. And all this was to give the company a good standing in a market full of entrepreneurs.
God came through for us along the line and everything we bet on did go the right way. We were able to take our company from grass roots grace. Even though we aren’t where we envision to be yet, we are actually in a better standing than we were a year ago. Most of the people we started with are no where to be found because they gave up along the line. Others also look up to us in hopes that they might learn a thing of two from us while we also still stay open minded, and ready to learn from whoever, wherever.

I would say this risk was something we had to take and I knew it was either this or nothing. And so I went in for it, because no risk, no reward. At the end of the day, we give thanks to God for not letting us down because there were days we wanted to give up, days we felt we weren’t doing the right things and even days we didn’t know what we were doing. But we kept pushing and pushing each and everyday. Today, we are alive to tell our story, inspire others and also do better for ourselves as individuals. I’m truly glad I took this risk because I would have been so pained to look back and regret that I didn’t take this risk.
