Music : What I Like And How It Makes Me Feel

One thing about me that I guess has remained constant in my life is my love for music. For as long as I can remember, I have liked music and my taste has not changed too much. To say it has completely remained the same would not be true because I have heard different genre of music that has peaked my interest.

For as long as I can remember I have liked dancehall music. I still do like dancehall as it gets me off my feet. Dancehall music has been my go to music to get me off my feet and into the dancing mood. I can’t explain why but I just feel I can dance anytime I hear dancehall music.

Alkaline and Tommy Lee Sparta have been 2 of my favorite artistes during my era of dancehall music and even till now, I have some of their music in my playlist. Most people who are not really close to me when they see how I react to dancehall music are very surprised because it’s not something they expect me to like.

Now, I like a bit of pop. I like pop because James Arthur has become one of my favorite artistes. He’s someone I can literally listen to the entire day because I like his voice and the lyrics to the music he sings are very good. The likes of impossible, naked, train wreck, Emily and many more are just some of the reasons I like James Arthur.

Megan Thee Stallion is also one of the reasons I like pop music. I’d be very surprised to hear someone doesn’t like Megan. So far, every music lover I’ve come across to some extent likes the music she makes.

So, I like music because it makes me feel less tense and good.
