Mistakes, Regrets, and Second Chances

Life as we all know comes with no manual and we only get to do this life thing once. We as humans are not perfect and obviously, we would make a few or more mistakes in the course of our lives. But the good part of all this is that, you get to learn from your mistakes and do better because life doesn’t need with one mistake.

I for one have actually grown so much over the years when I look back. It’s funny how I literally changed from that person who didn’t take anything on their lives seriously to literally transforming everything in my life for the better. It didn’t just happen like magic, reality finally hit me and I knew I had missed out on a lot. Better late than never.

Of all the things in my life, if there’s one thing I regret it would be the fact that I wasted some part of my life away by not making good use of opportunities that were present to me. I wouldn’t want to give excuses that I was a kid then and bla bla bla. I probably just wasn’t that informed. Those days, there were so many opportunities being presented to me on the daily basis and all I cared about then was sleeping and being online.

It isn’t something I’m proud of and if I got a second change I know that I would make good use of that time. And from my experience, I’m able to guide the upcoming adolescents on not wasting such opportunities because they mostly come only once. Life is unpredictable and thanks to God for presenting me with great opportunities again, I’m far ahead now and kicking it real.

No one is perfect and no one’s life can be perfect. The least we can do for ourselves is make the best out of our lives.
