Are We Being Punished For Our Sins Already?
In my part of the world, we mostly experience two weather conditions which is the rainy season and the dry season. I for one have lived most of my life in the southern part of the country where we do not experience extreme weather conditions. My first time experiencing extreme weather conditions , both rainy and dry seasons was when I moved into the university. I would always hear about how people from the north would complain about how we southerner are enjoying in the cool weather.
God knows I took all they said as a joke until I experienced it myself. I reported to school in September and i couldn’t believe my eyes when it kept raining non stop for 3 days straight and lectures went on like nothing happened. Poor me who didn’t have an umbrella would always get to class completely or half soaked just to sit down and listen to something I don’t understand.
Then in early December I couldn’t bath in the mornings without hot water.😂 I wouldn’t even dare bath with cold water because it would feel like bathing in snow. For someone like me, you’d always find me with severe cold. As if that wasn’t enough, February-March greeted us with so much heat you can literally feel the sun right above your head. At some point I started to ask myself which one of my enemies prayed for me to land here but God being so good, it’s been over 4 years of me being in the north and I’m still alive. Surpriseeee!
The weather condition here in Northern Ghana can be very tricky at times. The rule of the normal weather conditions across the year don’t apply to this part of the country. Currently, you’d be surprised we are experiencing a mixture of heat and harmattan at the same time. You’d go to bed today soaking in sweat only to wake up feeling like ice cubes are being poured on you. The following day the story would be different. You’d wake up with severe headache and sweat at the early hours of 5:00 am. I’m still trying so to understand how things work here but at this point, I’m just going to give up and wait for what’s yet to come.
The weather here is currently really bad. We haven’t seen rain in months and the heat wave is getting worse by the day. I honestly don’t know the reason for this current weather but I’d like to believe it is due to climate change. Even though most of us don’t really know about the effects of global warming, this weather should get us to fully comprehend the effects of our actions to our planet earth.
Personally, I think I’d prefer the rainy season over this hot weather even though they both come with their disadvantages. At this point, I’d just have to talk to my sugar daddy, @moremoney28 to get me an AC, or better still move me to Europe so I can live happily every after.😄

The unfortunate part is that the heat makes one unproductive with his brain, I can't think straight, I hardly go out when the weather is hot. Everyone will prefer cold weather in this moment and that's why some part of Jos are most visited in a time like this.

I'm for cold weather anytime anyday. I prefer to fold myself in a duvet in cold to sleeping with my bed soaked in sweat.
There's nothing anybody will tell me, cold weather has less effect to hot weather. Period!

The funny thing on my side is that, people say coldness brings catarrh and I suffers that often but in all these, I still prefer to be in a freezing country to this sweaty continent 🥹

Over here, the weather is hot around this time of the year but the heat came very early. I just hope it gets better soon.
