Personality has different meanings to various individuals. I like to believe that your personality is who you are. It consists of your behaviors, your experiences , your environment,what you see, what you hear and even how you are being treated by others.

For someone who is treated like an outcast in society, the person would most likely have a different personality as compared to someone that’s treated otherwise. We all have different personalities and that’s who we are, but I like to believe that we can still learn to adjust our personalities in one way or the other. It’s just like getting rid of a bad habit because it had bad effects on your life.

I once read somewhere that your personality is determined by your brain. Reason being that your brain changes with your experiences, your body, and even your emotions sometimes. I don’t really know much about this stuff but I’m just sharing what I learnt.😅

Personally, I think I got my personality from my mom because we are very much alike. I am able to build strong relationships effortlessly and people mostly want to be around me because I give off a good vibe. I think that’s probably how I source my energy.

Over the past few years, I have learnt to make a lot of changes in my life. I have been able to filter a lot of negative things and people out of my life because the people around me affect who I am, what I do and even my thinking. I am affected by who I spend my time with and what I spend my time doing. I wouldn’t want to be around people who always want to engage in unnecessary activities , I want to also have important things to do. Things that will affect my life positively and also make my life better.

If I am to describe my personality with a shape I would most definitely go for a circle. I would say a circle because I am an all round person, I’m a social butterfly , and also build strong relationships with others. Also, I carry some warmth in me which makes people around me feel comfortable. Aside all these, I’m very open minded and I’m an active listener.

I see myself as someone who strives on connection. I don’t really have a big circle of friends but with the few people I am friends with, I make sure to make our connection a meaningful one. I always make sure to make my presence felt in the lives of those I care for and cherish. I practice constructive criticism and I don’t like to beat about the bush. I state it as it is, I know most people wouldn’t like that but once you’re my my friend or family you’d have to get used to it. I’m not one to pamper you and make you keep on going wayward.

Despite all these characters I posses, I still have shortcomings. I can be very emotional sometimes and this is because I try my best not to hurt others feeling so when someone does otherwise to me it really hurts. I sometimes also find it difficult to make decisions under pressure. I do try sometimes but when it’s very critical, I prefer to take my time and decide.

I like to describe myself using a circle for all of the reasons stated above. Even though I’m not perfect, I’m constantly working to make myself better in all I do. I hope you enjoyed reading this, thank you for your time.
