October 2024 - Let's Power Up!

Yes! October 2024 is here, and today being the first day, I am absolutely excited to be participating in another Hive Power Up Day! It has become a custom for me since I made up my mind before I entered this year to make a conscious effort to power up my Hive tokens every HPUD.

_{Before I powered up}

Of course, I do stake my $HIVE tokens at every little opportunity I get at different times and days of the week. But there is a different vibe that comes with doing it on a day that has been set aside specially for it, and that is the first day of every month.

_{During power-up}

Today, I have once again decided to power up 50 $HIVE, and this little step has helped me to finally cross the 1000HP mark. For me, this calls for a big celebration, hehehe! You may not understand, but let me just say that if I had been doing this every month since I joined the Hive blockchain, I would have gone further by now. But, I am grateful for where I have reached all the same.

_{After Powering up}

Perhaps, it is time for me to aim higher (I mean increasing the amount of HIVE tokens I power up every HPUD). It is doable, but I need to make better plans.

Talking about plans, one other thing I need to work on is how to increase some layer 2 tokens in my possession. For now, I have been focusing more on $LEO tokens but I believe there should be others to watch and consider.

The month of September came with so many financial demands, the major part having to do with paying for my children's education. I still have more bills to settle with regard to that in this month. So, I didn't make any purchases in the month of September that just ended even though it is very clear to me that it is time to get a new phone for my activities here. Hopefully, that will be done before the end of this month when I am done with other more pressing issues.
