My Cleaning Activity For 30/01/2023

Good morning, friends! Today, I woke up with only one mission in mind before heading to work: to help clean my streets and neighboring areas by picking up trash littered along the way. I do this on a daily basis, but for some days, I haven't been able to do so. For this mission, I needed some working tools, which included a trash bag and a trash bucket for packing and disposing of dirt, and, of course, a hand glove to protect my palms. However, I had no gloves at the moment, so I picked my trash bucket and trash bag and headed out to get started.

On my way out, I met some people who were curious to know what I was doing with an empty trash bucket and bag. So, I quickly gave them a heads-up on what I was up to and even invited them to join me some other time. As I picked up trash, I couldn't help but wonder how our environment would be cleaner and healthier for everyone if people could stop throwing out trash anyhow but rather dispose of it properly. I acknowledge that it might be almost impossible, but not entirely impossible, as there will always be those who won't cooperate unless you have a gun to their head. I just shrugged off the thought and continued picking up trash.

After I was done, I tied the trash bag containing the dirt I had picked and put it in the trash bucket. Then, I left it where the disposal guy will see it for disposal. Afterward, I headed back home, washed my hands properly with liquid soap and water before preparing for work. Below are some pictures I captured during the process of cleaning.
