RE: Stereotyped: Unpacking Baggages Of Assumptions

You are viewing a single comment's thread:

This stereotype of a thing about yourself is kinda funny somehow, I'll say it won't be that easy to know the real you then, if your look, looks like igbo and you're not, if people think you'll be fluent in your tribe language, and you 're not, if people think you' re not friendly base on you not smiling most time, but when moving close to you, they find out that you're not doing bad in that area. This is why I say you will be very hard to read and know.

Lol I guess I'm like that until you draw closer but it's not always cool to want to read people by whatever you think or what they appear as.

Hmnnnn.... I'm sure you meet lots of people with different tribe and languages everyday, so how do you deal with people that don't understand or speak English since it's only English you can speak? Especially yoruba people, how do you deal with them?

Lol I don't have to deal with them, there is always a way out. I can't start learning many languages because I want to deal with such people 😅

Not because I'm yoruba, I like to hear another language aside from my own typical language if I'm opportune to see someone to teach me
