Independence Day For Ghana

I belief it's not too late to share my thoughts on Ghana independence day even though I'm not from Ghana and I don't base there but I have a childhood best friend that was born and brought up from Ghana and I've been in Ghana to spent some holidays there, which I really enjoyed my stay during this time, though it has been long, but yet I can still share few experiences while I was there and what I thought about this country

Ghana was colonise by the British in the late 19th century, as part of the scramble for Africa. The country was formally known as the Gold Coast, due to its significant reserve of Gold during the colonial period and they really experience significant changes in their economy, society and culture. Gold coast was rename to Ghana in the year March 6 1957 which is their first independence day because of indication that present, day inhabitant descended from migrants who move south from the ancient kingdom of Ghana. Ghana speaks Guan languages with different tribes like Larteh, Efutu, Awutu, Nchumuru and Gonja. And capital of Ghana is Accra.

Let's talk little about economy of Ghana at the moment. Talking about economic and social development, communication and railroads where greatly improved. I can also say poverty fell significantly and Ghanaian peasantry flourish. But talking about electricity outage crisis in Ghana presently, they are frequently going through worst power cut at the moment and this crisis has been happening for the past two years.The lasted power supply challenges in Ghana right now is (1)Tripped transmission lines: transmission lines in Ghana presently are overloaded, not well maintained, and non redundant.
(2)Reduce water level at the Bui reservoir
(3) Gas/Fuel related outages
And where the most problems is coming from is demand out stripping supply, poor state of transmission and distribution and tariff that have not covered cost. We are hoping this should be fixed in the future

I belief the government will work on this in other to improve the economic and society of the country because this was not how Ghana used to be some years ago... About some years ago, Ghana have celebrated a year of using electricity power supply the way they want it, which I belief it can still happen and be like the way it was Then. Ghana has good cultures that are very much interesting...their culture come from six ethnic group. They are Akan(Ashanti and anti), the Ewe, the GA Adangbe, the mole dagbani, the Guan and the Gurma...Ghana also express their culture through music, festival, occupation, marriage, religion and dressing. Ghana is a nice place to be and leave, they just only need to improve more on their economic and some other things which I've mentioned before... If they can work on this I belief the next independence will be much more better than this.! .!! .!!!
