When the giver suddenly becomes broke: a situation that should compel one to make money at all times.

I don't know if anyone else has been in a situation where you're in dire need of help and no one is willing to help. People you have been reaching out to and helping them out in their very worst state, and most of the time, depriving myself of some privileges, yet when it's my time, everyone seems to have. At this point, it becomes important to always have money and not to run out of funds because people may not be willing to help.

As a student, I needed money to sort out my fees since the deadline was almost exhausted, so I reached out to some of my friends and family members, but no one could help. It was the most vulnerable moment of my life. It was at that point that I realised that no one really cares about another, and every man to himself. It was a turning point in my life. At that point, I made up my mind never to be of help to anyone. Although I later changed my mind. However, at that moment, I learnt an invaluable lesson about life. One of such lessons is that you might think that everyone loves you until you're in need. Also, not everyone you send help to will do the same. Help will certainly come from another person. To cut a long story short, it was someone I didn't expect to help me who came to bail me out of that situation.

This is what always happens to helpers. They hardly get help from people. Most times, the people whom you help would stand against you in your time of need. This is why one should not be deficient in money. Having money to sort out yourself in times of need is the greatest gift one can give to oneself.

Many people, as a result of this bitter experience, have made up their minds not to in any way render help again. This is not the right thing to do in a case like this, though it's always painful and depressing. However, this experience should not make one bitter but rather to learn a lesson and have this understanding that it is not necessarily those that you have helped who will render help to you. This is the reality that one has to face. Instead of expecting help from them, see to it that you're helping humanity, and there is a blessing for doing so. That is why blessings will always come from an avenue you didn't expect.

A helper can never be frustrated so long as his intentions are pure. A way will always open up especially ways he didn't expect. This I have realised. So do not give up on doing well because in due time you'll reap every reward of love done in the genuineness of the heart.
