I woke up this morning, and the Holy Spirit ministered to my heart, and I wish to share with everyone. While thinking about the message, the Holy Spirit directed me to this scripture in Luke 10.

>17 And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through thy name.18 And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven.19 Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

Jesus sent out his disciples to preach the gospel to the people, and in carrying out this assignment, Satan and his demons were defeated.

It therefore means that victory over Satan is achieved by preaching the word of God to people. Satan does not like it when the gospel of Christ is preach that is why he is out there fighting the gospel of Christ from getting into the heart of men. Little wonder that Apostle Paul in 2 Corinthians 4:4

>The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel that displays the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.

Satan's duty is to ensure that people do not come to the light of the gospel. This is because he knows that he will be defeated when people receive the gospel of Christ.

This is a call for us to intensify the preaching of the gospel to every nation as instructed by Jesus in Mark 16:15

He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation"

God wants us to preach the gospel to all creatures. This is the Great Commission that Jesus commanded before he ascended to heaven.

As a Christian, ensure that you preach the gospel to everyone around you. This is what Apostle Paul admonished Timothy: 2 Timothy 4:2 Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching.

We have no other assignment than to preach the gospel. Satan can only be defeated through the preaching of the word. We can render Satan totally useless when the earth is filled with the knowledge of God as water covers the earth.

We can defeat Satan through prayers, but the ultimate tool is the word of God in the hearts of men. Let's preach the gospel and put the kingdom of Satan in total defeat.
