Many people think that before you predict the future of a person, you must either be a God or a spirit being. This is not true. You can look at someone and rightly predict his or her future. I am going to put you through knowing the outcome of a person's life in years to come.

Whatever we do today determines how the future will look like. You do not need to go the extra mile looking for prophets or seers to tell you this. The outcomes of my life today are a product of what I did with my life many years ago. The principle of sowing and reaping is a typical analogy that drives home my point. The truth is whatever a person sows so shall he reap.

Many people who are living in affluence and wealth today, paid the price for it many years ago. Many of their friends were playing through the gallery. A lot of people think that the height of great men was achieved by sudden flights. So many great men we have today didn't sleep at night. They burned midnight candles and sacrificed for their growth. Meanwhile, those ravaging in poverty and wretchedness today, were not ready to sacrifice for their future.

The statement that no one knows the future is not entirely true or correct. The future is always determined by what we do today. The analogy is very simple. Take the #hive platform as an example. You cash out your reward weekly. What that means is that if you do not work this week, then you cannot earn a dime next week and vice versa.

Whoever will be rich will be known by the things he does today. For example, he doesn't sleep all through the night, he wakes up early, he works hard and smart, he builds relationships with intelligent and hardworking people, he budgets his spending, he reads lots of books, and he's consistent in what he does. On the other hand, a poor person sleeps all through the night, wakes up late, spends his time on social media, he's lazy, always complaining, loves spending without having to save, spends his time seeing movies, doesn't love to read, he's not ready to work hard, he makes friends unintelligent people. The list is unending.

Looking at the lives of the two people I have illustrated above, you do not need a seer to tell you what their future will look like. It's already glaring that the first person is likely to succeed in years to come while the second person stands a chance to fail. Success and failure in life is a product of choice. Whatever you choose will happen and nothing one can do about it.

I teach in a high school, and one thing I noticed about grade-A students is that they work hard and prepare ahead of time. That's what differentiates them from other students. Sincerely, where I am today would have been better off if I had prepared early enough. I missed most of my opportunities and the results are what I am having presently. However, I still have another chance, and that's why I am working tirelessly to ensure that the future is better than where I am.

Put yourself in a measuring scale and weight to see if what you're doing currently will snowball into a better future or the other way around.
