There are lots of technological developments and innovations that have defied my imagination. Thinking about them makes me wowed by the knowledge humans have put into research and technological advancement. When I think about how technological advancements are affecting every aspect of human life, and how they have made life easy for everyone, it makes me dole out my cap in appreciation of technology. The god of the earth is technology. Imagine if there were no technological advancement in the world, humans would have lived as animals. Lives would have been difficult to live. Things would have been difficult to produce and people would have died of hunger and at the same time, people would have been confined to a particular place.
I remember as a little boy living with my grandparents, the very moments I saw a transistor radio and heard people talking on it, I was lost in thought, thinking about how the small radio could contain human beings. All my thought was that people were inside the radio and talking. That was so dumb of me.
I have enjoyed so many privileges brought about by technology, both modern and traditional. Putting everything together, I would say that, one of the greatest achievements I have gotten as a result of the use the use of technology is in the ability to earn a living legally in my country. I use the word legal because a lot of young persons in my country are taking advantage of technology to illegally make money through extortion and false mechanisms.
it was like a dream come through and also a defining moment in my life where I got to believe in the importance and advantage of technology in society. Before now, I hardly believed that one could make money via the Internet. It was a difficult thing to believe. Also, I thought that even if they did, it would be a very difficult task. As a result of this, I closed my heart against every opportunity presented to me. Until one day, I decided to open up my heart to learning. Now, I sit in the comfort of my hood and make money effortlessly. This is made possible via technology.
You know it is one thing to make money, it is another thing to withdraw your money to your local currency and get things for yourself. Beyond making money online via technology, the ability to transact with money is what has beaten my imagination too. Before now, the physical banking hall was the only avenue through which transactions were carried out. Now I cannot recall the last time I went to the bank and it’s as if such an institution is now becoming useless as days go by. I also stay in the comfort of my house and carry out every transaction I want to without hassle. This is also made possible via technology.
In summary, technology has no boundary, it cuts across every facet of human life. Without technology, life would have been a mirage.
