Anything worth doing is worth doing right: secrets to creating quality content on Hive.

I was having a serious discussion with a friend on this platform who shared his disappointment and discouragement with me. He told me how he has not been getting good upvotes whenever he makes a post. I sympathized with him because I understand how it feels like when you put effort into things and yet the results seem to speak otherwise. After a long discussion, I was compelled to look at some of the posts he made some weeks ago and realized that those posts were not done the right way. This is the same mistake most people make on hive. So many people who are having difficulties in getting good upvotes have not done the right thing. Doing the right thing involves following laid-down principles. Everything in life has rules and following the rules propagate orderliness and responsibility. Hive is no exception. To get the best out of anything you do, it is necessary to go by the principle guiding such a thing.

So some of the things I observed from his posts were that he did not post on rightful communities, he did not read community rules and regulations, he did not use the rightful tags, his writings were full of errors and typing mistakes, his word counts were not much and other stuff like not commenting on other people post, no reblogging, and many others. I was personally disappointed in him. In the absence of all of these, I doubt if anyone can have a good upvote on Hive.

I had to sit him down and tell him that anything worth doing is worth doing right. Content creation is not a haphazard activity, it requires carefulness, intentionality, dedication, and conscious efforts to get things done rightfully. I told him to study the activities and lifestyles of those making progress on the platform. The paramount things you're going to learn from them will include the following but are not limited to dedication, consistency, and quality content among others. He asked me to share with him some insights that would probably help him to make quality content on Hive. I shared the following information with him.

spend time on other people's work This is the first step toward knowing what to do and how to do it right. Endeavor to read what others have written on a particular subject of interest. I told him that it's wrong to just wake up and put up anything he feels like putting up there. I told him how I spend more time reading the daily @thedailyleo which has equipped me with more knowledge and information on cryptocurrencies and financial market activities as well as trending news.

make more research I told him to do research before he posted anything on hive. Hive is a place where people are versed with knowledge and information and anything you put up here must be verified. No one loves to support ignorance and mediocrity.

In all of these, I kept reminding him that Anything worth doing is worth doing right. This principle applies to everyone using the hive blockchain to create content.

Hey there! Your InLeo Premium membership expired and I noticed you didn't renew it

I'm looking for ways to improve the Premium experience, do you mind giving me feedback and maybe a couple reasons why you decided not to renew it?

@anomadsoul renewing premium requires 10HBD and I don't have up to such. Moreover, I am working toward renewing it whenever I hit 10 HBD. THANKS
