Anticipate my Novel “Cold Flame 🔥”

As I am typing this I am so excited because my dream of many years ago is about to come to reality. I have harboured this dream of publishing a book for many years, often when the drive came, and suddenly it would vanish. I thought of how I would go about it, but today I am happy to announce to the hive community that my book is ready, and very soon it will be published.

Two weeks ago, I completed the writing of the book; just last week, I gave it to the editor to do justice to it. I am pretty sure that in a couple of weeks, she will be done with the editing, and then the other processes will follow. I am so sure that before the end of this year, the book will be on the market.

I have talked to a graphic designer about it and he has given me an assurance that once the editor is done with it, I should let him know so he can give me a captivating cover design.

Once the editor is through with her job, I'll be heading to the national library board to apply for an international standard book number ISBN). I read about the processes of getting the ISBN, and it's not that tedious. I promise to carry everyone along on all these processes.

Let me say that what actually gave me the motivation to sit and write is the @theinkwell community on Hive. I couldn't imagine that I could write a novel until I began engaging in the weekly community prompt. I saw myself being able to put up a story online with the topic of the prompt given. It was really challenging to me at first, but as I engaged further, it became seamless and interesting.

Moreover, reading people's reviews on books from the @hivebookclub community also gave me the impetus that one day my book shall be reviewed here too. In general, I would say that my inspiration and motivation came from the #hive community in general.

From the photo above, the book is a novel for high school students but anyone can pick it up and read. It's interesting and full of lessons. It will also help in vocabulary building and lots more. At the end of the book, I've included the grammar and its meaning as used in the novel. I believe that many parents would love to get it for their kids. Many people would also love to buy it. Many school owners would love to recommend it for their students.

The book will come in both soft copies and paper bags. It would be available at selar dot com as well as Amazon KDP.

I want to use this time to thank the Hive community and everyone who has supported me so far.

Just as I have promised I'll be carrying everyone along with all the processes till the book is published.
