Every Cave Man needs a Man Cave!
Ever since I got the house, I wanted a man cave, needed a man cave. I suppose that makes me a real life modern cave man. It took a while to save up enough money and buy a Titan six metre by six metre shed kit. I got a mate to do the concreting, after I levelled the ground by hand with a shovel. Building the shed was fun my very own cave, I had such big ideas, grand plans, a pool table, bar, spotless work benches and tools.
Things did not really workout the way I planned but I got a cheap Chinese pool table, it ended up in the house before it went to live at my son place. We made a bar with a TV for the football and cricket but it got buried under all the stuff that comes along with a busy family life and work.
After many years I ended up with so much stuff, most of it comes in very handy from time to time. Every now and again I go through and take a load to the dump. Time and technology is moving so fast all that things I though might be handy become out dated and useless very quickly.
Hopefully one day I can get it back to my original perfect spotless idea or maybe I could turn it into the perfect cave and move in rent the main house out.
A good cave man hangs onto everything and finds a use for it. I definitely get the feeling that I have descended from a long line of good cave men and women.
You should edit your preview text...last week and this week the preview text was the same.. words from a previous post prior to both last, and this, week's posts.
Yeah, I sometimes noticed this issue in my posts, too. It's something in cache...
Will do. I was being lazy and re using the same draft in ecency which does not seem to have the preview options. Have now edited in peakd and looks to be fixed. I thought I was going to be able to blame Cyclone Alfred but it was all me!
Thanks for picking it up.
Mate, there's nothing better than a man disappearing to his cave and leaving a Roman in bloody peace.
