Sundays Made of Fantasy
Sundays are days to remember, and today I recall a special Sunday, some weeks or perhaps months ago. One of those days that turn us into butterflies or make us believe happiness is as tangible and easy to find as soap or stairs.
Our Puppet Theater: "El Guiñol de Camagüey," had premiered its show The Girl and the Elephant, based on the work by Frei Betto, and I had promised my little girl I would take her. We never miss the magic of these kind and talented people who have now been working for children for over 60 years.
We expected smiles and emotions, but as usual, everything exceeded our expectations. We arrived with dreams, and within ten minutes of the performance, they had already taken flight like dandelion florets.
A giant elephant, a trapeze artist, a little girl with a huge heart - all together in those few square meters. After finding the elephant very sad and alone, the girl takes care of her and intends to take her to live at home despite a society that considers this act eccentric and dangerous.
My little girl laughed, jumped, hugged the elephant and the giraffe, and made me the luckiest mother in the world. The darkness (which she invariably fears), the cold Theater Hall and our forgotten coats didn't matter - we didn't even remember it would rain that afternoon because when magic and fantasy descend upon our souls, there's no room for anything else, and one returns cleansed of guilt and burdens.
We left that day, our hair tousled by a soft Sunday breeze through the cobblestone streets and plazas of my city, promising ourselves another weekend just as memorable.

Si, siempre es especial asistir al Guiñol. No nos perdemos sus espectáculos, incluso ese, La niña y el elefante, lo fuimos a ver dos veces. Con una sola vez no nos alcanzó.

The weekend to remember ,Children will always want things that keeps the busy and it will be to them like given them the world.Sundays are special day's among all other days, your enviroment, even the type of food you eat on a sunday will be tasting to you as if is the type you have eating befor, I do say that Sunday is great befor God.
