RE: An Apocalyptic Thriller to Savour || Leave the World Behind Film Review

I watched this last night and though it was mostly pretty great. Some of the "flippy" camera angles and how they would film things sideways kind of annoyed me because I felt it was unnecessary and don't really know what the director was going for when they were doing that. Overall it was one of the better films I have seen in a while though and really am happy I saw it.

I guess not everyone would actually find the "flippy" camera angles interesting 😁 Some of us just like things simple and less dramatic most times. I'd say the director probably hoped to enhance the audience experience with them. You liked the film anyway. What rating would you give it, though?

oh I really enjoyed the film. Little things like that just annoy me because I watch so many movies. I also hate "shakey cam" action that isn't necessary in movies for the most part or when the camera hides around a corner in an effort to make a secret meeting appear even more secret.

I would give this one a 4.5/5 and thought it was fantastic as well as a reflection on society's addiction and dependence on technology for basic survival.
