Bee in Digital Watercolors

Abeja en Acuarelas Digitales

This is another drawing for the bug drawing challenge, and on this occasion we will repeat the same insect as on the first day, but with a change, well, a big change. Instead of making a small kawaii bee, we will be drawing a realistic bee, as if it were a scientific illustration.
To draw this bee, we will be using Ibis Paint and the free watercolor brush set. For the background, we will use a simple default canvas texture that comes preloaded in Ibis Paint. In addition, we will rely on the symmetry tool to ensure both parts of the insect match. I will also share the drawing process, where I started, as always, from the sketch.
I believe this challenge has not only allowed me to represent my love for insects, but also helped me keep drawing daily, pushing myself and improving my technique and style. I hope you enjoy this drawing as much as I do.

Este es otro dibujo para el reto de dibujar bichos y en esta ocasión repetiremos el mismo insecto que el primer día, pero con un cambio, bueno, un cambio grande, ya que en lugar de hacer una pequeña abejita kawaii estaremos dibujando una abeja realista, como si fuese una ilustración científica. Para dibujar esta abeja estaremos usando Ibis Paint y el set gratuito de pinceles de acuarelas. Para el fondo estaremos ocupando una textura simple por defecto de lienzo que viene precargada en Ibis Paint. Además, nos estaremos auxiliando de la herramienta de simetría para lograr que ambas partes del insecto coincidan. Les compartiré el proceso de dibujo también, donde empecé como siempre desde el boceto. Creo que este reto no solo me ha permitido representar mi amor por los insectos, también me ha permitido mantenerme dibujando a diario, esforzándome y mejorando mi técnica y estilo. Espero que les guste este dibujo tanto como a mí.

This was my first sketch.

Este fue mi primer boceto.

Afterwards, I simply did the line art and began drawing. I used a different brush for the lines, more solid, and another, more watery, for the coloring.

Después simplemente hice el line art y comencé a dibujar. Ocupé un pincel distinto para las líneas, más sólido, y otro más aguado para el coloreado.
