The city doctors wishes to use this opportunity to enlighten you on various ages and measures that can be adopted to improve or maintain brain health.

Pre Conception;

Depends a lot on parents health and habits. Good nutrition, regular check ups and healthy lifestyle choices lay the building blocks that shape a baby's future brain.

Pregnancy; the overall wellbeing of the mother is crucial for the healthy development of the baby's brain. So it's important for the mother to prioritise her health as it directly impacts the baby.

Childhood; the early years are vital for overall learning and development. Immunization, safe nutrition, healthy environment are all necessary.

Adulthood; at this age, it's important to adopt healthy lifestyle choices including diet, exercise and stress management. Which will help minimise the risk of many neurological conditions.

Late Adulthood; this is the period where the brain is prone to many conditions as a result of aging hence regular check-ups, staying socially engaged with friends and loved ones become very crucial in preserving the health and quality of life of the individual.
