Hello lovers of good coffee and drinks that nourish the soul, I hope you are well. Here with another experience that has left me our brew, this time I want to show you my way of making a Cappuccino at home, as always @neilamarcano style, I have liked for some time now to prepare my coffee-based drinks with my own magic potions to my taste and trying to vary the ingredients, to find that perfect combination to my palate.

Who doesn't enjoy the stimulating effect of a good sip of coffee, for me it is a pleasure to enjoy my good cup of coffee day after day, either alone or with someone else. My first cup in the morning should be of black coffee, well charged, to activate me 100%, and after that, there can be variations of coffee, until the afternoon.

I have said on several occasions that I love and love coffee, this week I got sick again with the flu, I had severe headaches and malaise in general, and the black coffee in the morning had calmed my headache a little, but I wanted to drink something different, and being a little better, I decided to check my pantry and I realized that I still had coconut milk, condensed milk and chocolate, but I didn't want anything cloying. So I decided to prepare a cappuccino coffee in my own style.

The versions at home are very different from the ones we drink in coffee shops, obviously it will not be the same, unless you have the necessary equipment for its elaboration, the truth is that I do not have them, but for me it is not limiting, what matters to me is to be my own creator of my good cup of coffee in its different versions, For me it is an opportunity to continue experimenting and to go out of the common, sometimes we limit ourselves in doing the things that we like, for the simple fact of not having this or that, from my point of view I call them barriers, that prevent us from being our own creators of our magic drink; I am free to create and to taste, the limitations are not in me when it comes to elaborate my coffee flavored drink.

For those who do not know, the original cappuccino is made with espresso, frothed or whipped milk, which provides the creaminess to the coffee. The other ingredients that complement it are variants to make it more pleasant and enjoyable.

In our case, we will use coconut milk, ideal for those of us who are lactose intolerant, this milk besides being nutritious, is energizing. The touch of making a good cappuccino lies in the whipped milk and its frothiness, that is why we must do our best to achieve a good whipped or frothed milk. Without further ado, let's get to the recipe.

Ingredients to use

  • 40 milliliters of freshly brewed Black Coffee or Espresso coffee.
  • 120 milliliters of coconut milk or liquid milk.
  • Sugar to taste.
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla.
  • Optional: cinnamon or cocoa powder to decorate.

Preparation

  • The black coffee (pure) or Espresso is previously prepared, keep it hot.

  • As I do not have a hand blender, I take the coconut milk to heat a little, without boiling, then I place it in the blender at medium speed, when the milk begins to foam, I take it to full speed, we turn it off when we observe that it doubles its size and has enough foaminess.

  • In a medium cup, add the hot pure coffee and add the teaspoon of vanilla, stir to integrate.

  • Then add little by little the frothy milk in the form of a thread in the center of the cup, until at the end all the frothiness of the coconut milk is at the top in the center, as I am not an expert in making designs, I do not strive in it, but I am practicing a lot, when I get the heart, I will share it with you.
  • To taste it add honey or sugar, depending on which one you like more. You can also sprinkle cinnamon or cocoa or chocolate powder at the end, I did not add anything else, I wanted it without many flavors.

Well my coffee people, here is my Cappuccino coffee @neilamarcano style, now let's taste it, Mmmm, yummy!

Amigo, the coconut milk is very frothy, it generates a creaminess to the coffee, with the touch of vanilla that I gave to the coffee, it is exquisite, I really like its flavor, I hope you can be your own Barista at home. It is delicious with sweet bread, cookies or a portion of cake. I tell you that my experiment continued, as I still had some whipped milk left, the second cup, I added condensed milk to sweeten it, I loved the flavor, but it made me a little sickly.

It is my pleasure to motivate you to dare to experiment and create your own concoctions, to give new sensations to your palate. That's all for today.

I say goodbye to you, with the gratification that this new beverage has left me in my own way, until the next meeting between me and my coffee; me and my coffee... Infinite blessings to you, see you soon.
