Occupy my mind: A daily prompt

Zara,a high school intelligent girl,had a lot of distractions last semester which affected her result. Though her result wasn't that bad but,it was unlike her performance. Her homeroom teacher who knew that something might be wrong,called her to her office and Zara confided in her and told her that she was preoccupied with family stuffs and all that, and that was what led to her result being that way.

Miss Rose,that's her homeroom teacher,told her that she needs to free her mind from all that if she wants to perform well in her academics. Zara thanked her and went back to her class.

Shortly after,a new semester started,and Zara after preparing for school, looked at the mirror and said to herself,this new semester,I'll not let unnecessary stuffs occupy my mind .She left for school and took her studies seriously. When the semester came to an end,she did beautifully well and was very happy. She thanked miss Rose for everything.
