Be Doers Of The Word And Not Hearers Only

Good day my fellow hivers 🥰🥰. How are you all and Happy new month to you and your family. Welcome to the month of September and I pray for endless joy/happiness this month. 🙏🙏

Saint James in his letter is telling us that we are special in the face of God as we are the first fruit of his creatures. We should not live like the Pharisees and scribes,that do not practice what they teach,rather we should act and live according to what we preach and teach. So therefore, do not only be the hearer of God's word rather,be doer also because hearers of God's word only, deceive themselves.

In the Gospel from the book of saint Mark,Christ preached to the people that what defiles a man isn't what goes into him,rather what is already packed in him that does, and what are those? evil thoughts,theft, murder, wickedness,envy,........name it. So,we should try as much as we can to keep away from all these or anything that might lead to them.
