Return trip to hometown December 2023
Hello everyone, how are you? Recently I have traveled back to my hometown. Currently I live in Bogor City and will travel to Yogyakarta City. I went home to go on a long holiday and meet my family.
I left home at 00.00 WIB. Why did I choose to leave at night?? I chose to leave at night to avoid traffic jams on the way. Usually the direction of the toll road from my house will be a bit congested because many motorists are coming home from work.
That night my husband had just come home from work, so he said he wanted to sleep for a while before leaving. We all decided to rest first before traveling.
After getting enough rest we immediately set off. The car we were in was driven by my brother-in-law. My husband doesn't dare to drive himself because he gets sleepy easily.
Rest Area KM 86A
The journey was quite smooth, we all stopped and rested at the rest area at 03:00 WIB. We took a short break to go to the toilet, apart from that we also looked for food and drank coffee.
The toilet here is not too busy, I went to the toilet for a while to wash my face and clean up. The toilets here are also quite clean.
After that we all looked for food, my child chose to eat fried and boiled instant noodles. In this rest area there is a buffet restaurant, I took fried chicken, chili sauce and clear vegetables. However, I have no appetite because my teeth ache and it hurts when I chew food.
This place to eat is very clean so it makes visitors like me feel comfortable. The taste of the food here is also quite delicious, there are lots of menus that we can choose from.
After finishing eating our food we chose to sit outside and order coffee. It can be seen that the parking conditions in this rest area are quite busy with cars.
We all sat in the garden under a shady tree drinking coffee and enjoying the view of the cars passing by.
After resting, we immediately continued our journey. We started our journey at sunrise. I enjoyed the view of the sunrise from inside the car. The view on the toll road is very beautiful. The road that morning was quite busy so there was a traffic jam, even if only for a short time.
Returning home is an enjoyable journey for me, apart from enjoying the beauty of the journey, I am also happy because I will meet my family. The kids were happiest when we stopped at the rest area. They say eating instant noodles in the rest area is very delicious. The trip went smoothly and we arrived safely.
