One day, I went to a quiet pond, camera in hand, and I had a strong desire to capture the beauty of nature. The green grass, water lilies, and the crowd of kachuripanas around the pond made the environment even more charming. Suddenly, I saw a few beautiful Dendrocygna ducks floating in the grass in the pond water. Which we also know as whistling ducks in Bengal. Their long bodies, narrow necks, and relatively long legs seemed to adapt well to the water of the pond. Many people also know these ducks as choi birds. Their posture was wonderful, sometimes they were swimming slowly in groups, and sometimes they were floating on the water in the light breeze, flapping their wings. I zoomed in and took photos from a long distance, and each moment seemed like a work of art to me. I noticed that there were quite a few around, but I only captured one with my camera. Some of them were looking for food with their heads submerged under the water, while others were swimming side by side, as if talking to each other. The combination of bird calls and the sound of wings created a unique melody. From a distance, it seemed as if the entire pond environment had come alive. At that moment, I not only took photographs, but felt a deep connection with nature. Every click of my camera captured the simple yet captivating beauty of the Dendrocygna ducks' lifestyle. For me, it was not just a photo shoot, but a wonderful experience of capturing the beauty of nature within myself. It is quite nice to capture photos of such birds from a peaceful environment.
