La ciudad se ahoga
en su mutismo
a veces la despierta
el rumor de las olas,
otras se derrumba
ante un mar sediento
de luz
aurora...

Las fotografías fueron tomadas desde el Restaurante La Divina Pastora. La vista corresponde a la Ciudad de La Habana, y su bahía.

En ella se observa el contraste entre la arquitectura colonial del Castillo San Salvador de la Punta y la arquitectura moderna del Hotel Royalton.

Este último simula la forma de un barco entrando a la bahía, y se destaca por sus grandes ventanales de vidrios.

The city drowns
In his mutism
sometimes wake up
The rumor of the waves,
Others collapses
before a thirsty sea
light
Aurora...

The photographs were taken from the La Divina Pastora restaurant. The view corresponds to the Bay of Havana, and its city.

It shows the contrast between the colonial architecture of the San Salvador de la Punta Castle and the modern architecture of the Royalton hotel.

This last simulates the shape of a ship entering the bay, and stands out for its large windows of glass.

This is my entry for the #PhotoFeed Cityscape Photography Contest. This is an initiative of @photofeed.
