Hiking the Snowy Route to Solang
Hello Hive Family. I hope you're all well.

Friends, the photos and experiences I'm sharing today are from a recent hike. This hike goes from Kothi Village to Solang Village. While the place is beautiful, the recent snowfall has enhanced its beauty exponentially. Every step feels like we're in a different world.

This hike actually took place during route marking for a trail running event. We were part of the organizing team, and our job was to mark the route. We continued our slow progress. The view of the Solang Valley and the Beas River stretching before us was breathtaking. The vast Himalayan ranges visible in the distance made this trek even more beautiful. After climbing about four kilometers, as soon as we reached Kothi Top, we saw a herd of sheep. The grazing sheep and a dog guarding them made the scene absolutely natural and beautiful. The shepherds were preparing to head down to the lower reaches.

By the end of the hike, I was tired, but I felt a greater sense of joy and peace. I will always remember the peaceful moments spent in this beautiful valley.
I took these photos with my Sony A58 camera and edited them on Snapseed.

Wow, you captured the spirit of the trail. I like how you described the quiet moments, the valley opening up and the mountain stretching endlessly. There’s a peaceful strength in places like these, and your story made me feel like I was hiking right beside you. Beautiful work!
