A Hike to Kothi Top 🇮🇳 #Monomad
Hello Hive Family. I hope you're all well.

Friends, today I'm going to share some memorable glimpses and experiences from Kothi Top.

As I mentioned in my previous post, I'm marking routes for a trail running event in October. This work is as exciting as it is challenging. @himalayanwomb and one other companion are accompanying me on this hike.

Our hike begins amidst the cool morning breeze and glistening snow on the high mountains. We started walking from Kothi village around 7 a.m. The path is quite steep. @himalayanwomb is holding a small paint bucket with which he is making white marks on the stones. It took us about two hours to reach Kothi Top. From here, we can see fresh snow. The sky was clear, and the distant snow-capped peaks glistened in the sunlight.

We encountered a herd of sheep and goats along the way. After the snowfall in the mountains, they have now begun returning to the valley. As we crossed the small stream, their camp came into view a small tent and a burning fire. The lives of these shepherds are filled with simplicity and hard work.

Standing at Kothi Top and looking around, it felt as if the entire nature had wrapped itself in a white sheet. This experience can only be felt.

That's all for today's blog. In the next blog, I will tell you how we marked beyond Kothi Top. Beyond Kothi Top, we marked amidst about a foot of snow.
I took these photos with my Sony A58 camera and edited them on Snapseed.
