🔥🌹🌱 HAND POKED TATTOO/ TATUAJE HAND POKED 🌱🌹🔥
💓 Hello ink lovers! 💓
It's been a while since I've wanted to post, but I was a bit down, the only thing I did was watch movies haha and I only posted about that, but with a little effort I got out of that stage of demotivation (:
I was very clear that I didn't want this year 2023 to end without getting a tattoo, so one day, or rather night, I decided to organize everything to self-tattoo and try as much as possible to document it to share it with you :)

The technique I use is called hand poked, it is known by many other names, but they are all similar. It is distinguished because it does not use a machine, the force for the needle and ink to enter the skin and the pulse to follow the line or fill are entirely the work of the tattooist's hand.

This has many benefits, the tattoo heals faster, since the skin is treated more gently I am not lying when I tell you that the next day there is little inflammation and almost no redness . The idea with hand poked is that the finish is the same as a machine tattoo, but there is more room for attention to detail, which makes it ideal for pointillism.

Personally I prefer hand poked because it's a much quieter experience, without the noise of a machine, it's very practical for traveling because I carry less tools and supplies than I would if I were tattooing with a machine. Also, this may sound random but I don't need electricity! When I was just learning we went to a volunteer program where we spent a month in the middle of the Colombian jungle, in the cabin there was no electricity and yet many of the tattoos on my calf were done in that month :)

Speaking specifically about my tattoos, for now I want to focus on making my left sleeve look pulled together, not just random loose tattoos. So I've been adding little things to it for a while now, filling in the blanks.

This time I made new leaves and another small rose to make it all come together more, and I hope soon to do something new I'm designing to unify the angel and the flowers more. Hace un tiempo que he querido postear, pero estuve un poco bajoneada, lo único que hacía era ver películas haha y solo posteaba de eso, pero con un poco de esfuerzo salí de esa etapa de desmotivación (:
Tenía muy claro que no quería que acabara este año 2023 sin tatuarme, así que un día, más bien noche, tome la determinación de organizar todo para autotatuarme y tratar lo más posible de documentarlo para compartirlo con ustedes :)

La técnica que utilizo se llama hand poked, se conoce con muchos otros nombres, pero todos son similares. Se distingue porque no se ocupa máquina, la fuerza para que la aguja y tinta entren en la piel y el pulso de seguir la línea o rellenar son labores enteramente de la mano del tatuador.

Esto tiene muchos beneficios, el tatuaje sana más rápido, ya que se trata con más gentileza la piel no miento cuando les digo que al día siguiente ya hay poca inflamación y casi nada de enrojecimiento . La idea con el hand poked es que el acabado sea igual al de un tatuaje con máquina, pero hay más espacio para la atención al detalle, lo que lo hace ideal para hacer puntillismo.

En lo personal prefiero el hand poked porque es una experiencia mucho más tranquila, sin el ruido de una máquina, es muy práctico para viajar porque llevo menos herramientas e insumos de los que llevaría si tatuara con máquina. Además, esto podra sonar random pero ¡no necesito electricidad! Cuando recién aprendía fuimos a un voluntariado en el que estuvimos un mes en medio de la selva colombiana, en la cabaña no había electricidad y, sin embargo, muchos de los tatuajes en mi pantorrilla los hice en ese mes :)

Hablando específicamente de mis tattoos, por ahora quiero enfocarme en que mi manga izquierda se vea unida, no solo tatuajes sueltos al azar. Entonces estoy añadiéndole cositas desde hace un tiempo, rellenando los espacios en blanco.

En esta ocasion hice nuevas hojas y otra pequeña rosa para que todo vaya compenetrándose más, y espero pronto hacer algo nuevo que estoy diseñando para unificar más el ángel y las flores. Me encanta! Hace tiempo intenté tatuarme los dedos con esta técnica y entre el dolor y la falta de paciencia no pude.
Si,es necesaria la paciencia en el hand poked.Cuando comenze tenia que dar hasta 5pasadas para una linea solida,ahora con ma practica lo he reducido a 2 :) nunca he tatuado con maquina pero la ventaja de la rapidez en cuanto al hand poked es gigante!

Los dedos son muy complicados, a mi compañero le quedaron super bien en hand poked pero a mi se me cayo mucha tinta, nuestras pieles son muy diferentes, tambien aporto que yo no deje de hacer tareas del hogar durante la cicatrizacion 😅 Espero ver mas de tus post por aca!Felices fiestas!
