[2/🧵] This famous film was written and directed by the Wachowskis and starred by Keanu Reeves.
[3/🧵] If you want to know more, I invite you to see my review shared by InLeo, below:

The Matrix was perfect as a solo movie. The movies from 2003, The Matrix Reloaded and The Matrix Revolutions were good movies on their own merits. Even The Animatrix was a good collection of shorts. Don't bother with the 4th movie.
I completely agree with you. Except for the fourth and final installment, everything they've created in this franchise is a masterpiece. In fact, I prefer to think it's just a trilogy of films and that the fourth installment never existed. 🥴
This 4th movie-- 20 years after the series was relevant-- felt like both a $$ grab & a forced display of social virtue. It would have been more at home as part of the now-ruined Terminator series.
Rocky V is Shakesperean compared to M4.
Hahaha, I haven't seen it (thank God since I don't watch much TV these days), but I definitely share your opinion on this.
