Lately, anime has become more and more a part of popular culture than ever before. Now you don't have to worry about saying in public that you like anime without fear of being looked down on or belittled. Even on the big screen, anime has become a very promising market in both the East and the West. That's why the anime industry itself is currently at its peak in terms of production and broadcasts. With so many new anime series airing each quarter, it's hard to choose one that's entertaining and interesting.
That's why, after diving headfirst into this industry years ago, I decided to talk about the anime I like, and that's how I got to where I am now. Last year, I decided to share a post where I talked about how I managed to watch so many anime series each season. The post attracted a lot of attention, which is not surprising, so this time I will revisit this topic with this post where I share with you how many anime series I have watched in 2025. At the end, I will also share with you the TOP lists I have made for each of the four seasons that make up this year.

Últimamente, el anime se ha vuelto más y más parte de la cultura popular que nunca antes. Ahora ya no hay que preocuparse por decir en público que te gusta el anime sin temor a que te vean mal o te menosprecien. Aún en la pantalla grande, el anime se ha vuelto un mercado bastante prometedor tanto en oriente como en occidente. Es por eso que la misma industria del anime está ahora mismo en su pico más alto de producción y emisiones. Con tantos animes nuevos en emisión cada trimestre, es difícil escoger uno que sea entretenido e interesante.
Es por eso que decidí, luego de entrar de lleno en esta industria hace años, hablar sobre los animes que me gustan y así es como he llegado hasta donde estoy ahora. El año pasado decidí compartirles un post donde les hablaba de cómo le hacía para verme tantos animes en cada temporada. El post llamó la atención y no es de extrañar, así que esta vez renovaré este tema con este post donde les comparto cuántos animes me he visto en el año 2025. Les compartiré también al final los TOPs que he hecho en cada una de las cuatro temporadas que conforman este año.

Winter Season
We started 2025 off strong with shows like the second season of Solo Leveling and the return of Dr. Stone with its final season, Science Future. At the time, I was really motivated to watch every anime that aired, no matter what. Of course, after writing them down and following them for a few weeks, I started to rank them based on whether or not they entertained me. To my surprise, there were several anime this season that I really loved, despite being new and not very popular.

El 2025 lo empezamos de una forma muy potente con emisiones como la segunda temporada de Solo Leveling o el regreso de Dr. Stone con su última temporada llamada Science Future. En aquel entonces me motivé mucho viendo cada anime que se emitía, sin importar nada. Aunque, claro, luego de anotarlas y seguirlas por ciertas semanas empecé a clasificar cuáles darles más importancia y cuáles no dependiendo de su me entretenía o no. Para mí sorpresa, hubo varios animes de esta temporada que me encantaron bastante, a pesar de ser nuevos y poco populares.

Spring Season
This season, I decided to relax a little, even though there was no end to the interesting anime premieres. In the absence of popular anime premieres, there were a variety of new series that aired and caught my attention. Among them were several anime in the Slice of Life genre, a genre I had known about for a long time but didn't really care for. Or at least that was until this season, when I saw several anime in this style that I found quite interesting. I even made a TOP list, something I haven't done before with this genre.

En esta temporada decidí relajarme un poco, aunque no paraban los estrenos de animes interesantes. En ausencia de estrenos de animes populares, hubo una variedad de series nuevas que se emitieron y que me llamaron mucho la atención. Entre ellos estaban varios animes del género Slice of Life, un género que conocía desde hace tiempo, pero que no me llamaba mucho la atención. O al menos eso fue hasta esta temporada cuando vi varios animes de este estilo que me interesaron bastante. Incluso le hice un TOP, algo que no he hecho antes con este género.

Summer Season
When summer came, so did the best in popular anime. Starting with the second season of Dandadan, the long-awaited premiere of Gachiakuta, and the second season of Kaiju No. 8. There were also several premieres and returns of popular RomCom anime, which made this season the best. So much so that I almost managed to watch 40 anime in a single season. Of course, there were surprises as well as disappointments. In the case of the fantasy and isekai genres, there was no shortage of generic anime, as is always the case every season.

Cuando vino el verano, vino lo bueno en cuanto a animes populares se refiere. Empezando por la segunda temporada de Dandadan, el estreno tan esperado de Gachiakuta y la segunda temporada de Kaiju N° 8. También hubo varios estrenos y regresos de animes RomCom populares, lo cual hizo de esta temporada la mejor. Tanto así que casi logré alcanzar los 40 animes vistos en una sola temporada. Claro, hubo sus sorpresas como también sus decepciones. En el caso del género de fantasía e isekai no faltaban nunca esos animes genéricos, como siempre sucede en cada temporada.

Fall Season
By the fall season, things had slowed down considerably, not so much in terms of the number of anime series, but also in terms of the anime premieres I had been eagerly awaiting. One of those was the third season of Spy x Family, an anime I value highly for how special and entertaining it is. However, something that did disappoint me quite a bit and even ruined the season was the long-awaited third season of One Punch Man. Honestly, I have never seen such horrible animation as what was aired this season. I was so disappointed that I dropped it halfway through.
But hey, at least the season finale of My Hero Academia helped me get over this pain. So it's not like it was the worst season ever, at least this year's might be (or maybe not, and I'm just exaggerating).
In the end, it was a great year in terms of premieres, sequels, surprises, and disappointments. Among the photos I'm sharing with you are those from the fall season, which include notes on the anime that I plan to review in 2026. I'm sharing these images so you can see how I keep track of every anime I watch each season and how serious I am about it.

Ya para la temporada de otoño, la cosa bajó muchísimo, no tanto en cantidad de animes, sino también en estrenos de animes que esperaba ver con tanto anhelo. Uno de esos fue la tercera temporada de Spy X Family, un anime que valoro muchísimo por lo especial y entretenido que es. Pero, algo que sí me decepcionó bastante e incluso arruinó la temporada fue la tan esperada tercera temporada de One Punch Man. De verdad, no he visto una bazofia tan horrible de animación como lo que se emitió en esta temporada. Fue tanta la decepción que lo dropee a mitad de su emisión.
Pero bueno, al menos el final de temporada de My Hero Academia me ayudó mucho a superar este dolor. Así que tampoco es como para decir que fuera la peor temporada de todas, al menos la de este año tal vez lo sea (o tal vez no y simplemente esté exagerando.
Al final, fue un gran año en cuanto a estrenos, secuelas, sorpresas y decepciones se trata. Entre las fotos que les comparto están las de la temporada de otoño, las cuales hay anotadas los animes que pienso hacerles una reseña merecida a cada una en este 2026. Les comparto dichas imágenes para que vean cómo es que le doy seguimiento a cada anime que veo en cada temporada y qué tan serio soy en cuanto a esto.

El tiempo no me alcanza para ver animes, aún así, en su momento ví las primeras temporadas de Dr. Stone, Naruto y de Spy x family y me gustaron bastante aunque mi anime "favorito de todos los tiempos" es, indudablemente es Death Note.
