My Progress on Hive in 2025 & My Goals for 2026 | Annual Report [ENG/SPA]

Hello, everyone. The year 2025 is over, so I can't think of a better time than now to bring you my Annual Report on Hive. This is the first time I've shared anything in this community, so I hope to receive a warm welcome. This isn't the first time I've done this report; last year I did it in another community, but this time I decided it would be better to do it here at Loving Hive ❤️. It was a year full of good things and some not-so-good things too, but one thing I've noticed over time is how much my account has grown since I started in 2024.

At the beginning of 2025, there was a lot of movement on Hive, especially with the price of its native currency, which rebounded to reach $0.60 cents. At that time, I was doing pretty well with my weekly anime and movie reviews (a niche I devote almost 100% of my time to on My Hive Blog). While trying out a few things and researching projects and communities within this huge ecosystem, I managed to return to one of the most enjoyable communities on Hive. I'm referring to the Bokura No Digital World community.

The decision that led me to return to this community was to be more active in doing what the veterans here often call "networking". I prefer to call it interaction, to be honest, as it sounds more like what you would expect to do on a social network like Hive (although, of course, we know that Hive is not just a social network, but much more). That's how I rejoined the @takeru255 community, and since then I've been doing great sharing and meeting exceptional users and creators.

After that, another thing I decided to do in 2025 was to focus more on the quality of my posts, instead of just obsessing over posting every day. Since they were all movie and anime reviews, I decided to accept all the advice and suggestions I received in comments and weekly curations in order to gradually improve my writing, design, and presentation in each of my posts. Being a perfectionist who cannot tolerate any mistakes, I focused a lot on gradually modifying the layout style of my posts, taking into account not only my preferences when using only my cell phone, but also those of others who surely use computers as well.

That's how I went from making posts with overly long blocks of text to now just focusing on summarizing what I want to say in each point and making sure that each image, GIF, or banner has the necessary dimensions and quality to be visually pleasing to the reader. On the other hand, one of the things I have continued to do as a personal habit during and after publishing is to respond to each of the comments left for me, as well as being active in commenting on posts by other creators that I liked. Regarding the latter, I have created certain personal requirements when reading, voting, and commenting on a post.

The first thing is that I have to like the topic of the post, which is why most of the posts I vote on and comment on are also reviews of anime or movies. Even before commenting, I consider whether I have seen the work the post is about so that I can add some value to what I plan to write in my comment. This is how I have gradually improved when it comes to leaving valuable comments. So much so that even the @topcomments project has voted for me several times this year. When voting, I am just as demanding and take into consideration the quality of each post, as well as the accuracy of each topic.

One of the things that surprises me about what I have achieved this year, upon rereading my previous and first Annual Report, is the amount of HP I have earned thanks to all my publications. The same goes for the amount of HBD I've earned, although I've used this for personal expenses as a source of short- and medium-term income. Another thing I'm very grateful for is that I've managed to reach triple digits in followers, with a total of 152 at the time of writing this post. I still need to make myself known to more people and communities, so that will be one of my goals for 2026.

But before that, I also want to mention that I am quite happy to have reached 70 Reputation on my account just before the end of the year. This was one of my first and biggest goals to achieve in 2025, although I honestly hoped to achieve it much sooner. Still, I am grateful for all the support and help I have received from my followers, curators, and fellow Hive members who have always been watching me grow up to this very moment. But just as I have achieved good things, there have also been unpleasant and disappointing events and moments this year.

To begin with, there is InLeo, a project that remains one of the most active and largest on Hive to this day. However, in 2025, it took a turn that, frankly, disappointed me greatly. Initially, InLeo was one of my favorite front-ends, not only because it offered good rewards but also because its style was very similar to Twitter. However, after so many changes, the project has practically become a "Pay to Win" scheme, which disappointed me greatly as they abandoned the organic curation prioritized by the quality of the creators' content to focus only on those who have the money to pay for InLeo Premium.

That's how I stopped using their front-end and lost interest in InLeo for a while. Looking for alternatives, I found other interesting projects and communities such as Neoxian and Brotherhood at the time. But the latter was another disappointment over time. With the bout of madness that struck the owner of Brotherhood a few months ago, both it and its other associated communities (such as CineTV) were completely abandoned. That's how I learned that, before supporting a community or project, I have to get to know the owner first and make sure they don't suffer from any mental disorders that could affect the future of the project itself.

But anyway, 2025 is over, and 2026 is here with new opportunities and new goals and objectives. One of those is to double the amount of HP I currently have (~2300 HP). Honestly, my biggest dream is to become a Dolphin (between 5500 and 6500 HP) this year, but I see it as somewhat difficult, though not entirely impossible. Another goal I have is to achieve 72 Reputation in 2026. To do this, I will have to make an effort to adopt certain necessary habits, such as posting daily, for example. I would also like to participate in more Hive Power Up Days this year, so lately I have been busy accumulating liquid $HIVE for this.

Among my secondary or less important goals is to create more short content (Microblogging) on Hive. Lately, I've been really enjoying uploading Snaps on PeakD, so I'll make that another new habit for 2026. I'd also like to go back to uploading music-related content, such as talking about my favorite songs, for example. I don't promise to change or vary the type of content I share on Hive much, since reviewing movies and anime is my thing, it's what I like best. For my second anniversary in this great ecosystem, I would like to make some progress on some of these goals.

Hola a todos. Ya se acabó el año 2025 así que no encuentro mejor momento que este para traerles mi Reporte Anual en Hive. Es la primera vez que comparto algo en esta comunidad, así que espero obtener un agradable recibimiento. No es la primera vez que hago este reporte, el año pasado lo hice en otra comunidad, pero esta vez decidí mejor hacerlo aquí en Loving Hive ❤️. Fue un año repleto de cosas buenas y otras no tan buenas también, pero algo que sí he notado con el tiempo es cuánto ha crecido mi cuenta desde que empecé en 2024.

A inicios del 2025 hubo mucho movimiento en Hive, sobre todo con el precio de su moneda nativa, la cual repuntó hasta alcanzar los $0,60 centavos. En aquel entonces no me iba tan mal con mis publicaciones semanales de reseñas de animes y películas (nicho del cual me dedico casi al 100% en Mi Blog de Hive). Mientras probaba una que otra cosa e investigaba acerca de proyectos y comunidades dentro de este enorme ecosistema, he conseguido volver a una de las comunidades más agradables de todo Hive. Me refiero a la comunidad de Bokura No Digital World.

La decisión que me llevó a regresar a esta comunidad fue la de ser más activo haciendo lo que los veteranos de aquí suelen llamar “Networking”. Yo prefiero llamarlo interacción, la verdad, ya que suena más a lo que se espera conseguir hacer en una red social como lo es Hive (aunque, claro, se sabe que Hive no solo es una red social, sino mucho más). Es así como me uní de nuevo a la comunidad de @takeru255 y desde entonces me ha estado yendo excelente compartiendo y conociendo a usuarios y creadores excepcionales.

Luego de esto, otra cosa que decidí hacer este 2025 fue centrarme más en la calidad de mis publicaciones, en vez de solo obsesionarme con cumplir con publicar todos los días nomás. Al ser puras reseñas de películas y animes, decidí aceptar todos los consejos y sugerencias que recibía en comentarios y curaciones semanales para así mejorar poco a poco mi escritura, diseño y presentación en cada una de mis publicaciones. Al ser un perfeccionista que no tolera para nada ningún error, me centré bastante en modificar poco a poco el estilo de maquetado de mis publicaciones, tomando en cuenta no solo mis preferencias al solo utilizar el celular, sino también la de los demás que seguramente usan ordenadores también.

Es así como pasé de hacer posts con bloques de textos exageradamente extensos a ahora solo centrarme en resumir lo que quiero decir en cada punto y procurar que cada imagen, GIF o banner tenga las dimensiones y la calidad necesaria para que se vea visualmente agradable para el lector. Por otro lado, una de las cosas que he mantenido haciendo como hábito personal durante y después de publicar es el de responder a cada uno de los comentarios que me dejaban, además de ser activo comentando los posts de otros creadores que me gustaban. En cuanto a esto último he creado ciertas exigencias personales al momento de leer, votar y comentar un post.

Lo primero es que el tema de dicho post sea de mi agrado, es por eso que mayormente los posts que voto y comento son de reseñas de animes o películas también. Incluso, antes de comentar siquiera, yo tomo en cuenta si he visto la obra de la cual habla el post para así agregar algo de valor a lo que pienso escribir en mi comentario. Es así como he mejorado poco a poco al momento de dejar comentarios de valor. Tanto es así que hasta el proyecto @topcomments me ha votado varias veces en este año. Al momento de votar soy igual de exigente y tengo en consideración la calidad de cada post, así como también la veracidad de cada tema.

Una de las cosas que me sorprende que haya conseguido lograr este año al releer mi anterior y primer Reporte Anual es la cantidad de HP que he conseguido gracias a todo lo que he ganado con mis publicaciones. Lo mismo sucede con la cantidad de HBD que he ganado, aunque esto lo he utilizado para gastos personales como una fuente de ingreso a corto y mediano plazo. Otra cosa que agradezco mucho es que haya logrado alcanzar las tres cifras de seguidores, con un total de 152 hasta el momento de escribir este post. Aún me falta darme a conocer ante más gente y comunidades, así que eso será una de las metas que tengo para este 2026.

Pero antes de eso, quiero mencionarles también que estoy bastante contento por haber conseguido los 70 de Reputación en mi cuenta justo antes de terminar el año. Esta era una de mis primeras y mayores metas a cumplir en este 2025, aunque esperaba lograrlo mucho antes, sinceramente. Aún así, agradezco todo el apoyo y la ayuda que me han dado tanto mis seguidores como los curadores y compañeros de Hive que siempre han estado viéndome crecer hasta este preciso momento. Pero así como he conseguido cosas buenas, también han habido acontecimientos y momentos desagradables y decepcionantes en este año.

Para empezar, está lo de InLeo, un proyecto que aún al día de hoy sigue siendo de los más activos y grandes de Hive. Pero en este 2025 ha tomado un rumbo que me decepcionó mucho, sinceramente. Al comienzo, Inleo era uno de mis Front-Ends favoritos, no solo porque recompensaba bien sino porque tiene también un estilo muy familiar a Twitter. Pero luego de los tantos cambios que tuvo, el proyecto se ha convertido prácticamente en un “Pay to Win”, cosa que me decepcionó bastante ya que dejaron de lado la curación orgánica priorizada por la calidad de contenido de los creadores para solo centrarse en los que tienen dinero para pagar el InLeo Premium nomás.

Es así como dejé de usar su front y me desentendí de InLeo por un tiempo. Buscando alternativas, encontré otros proyectos y comunidades interesantes como lo es Neoxian y Brotherhood en su momento. Pero con este segundo fue otra decepción con el tiempo. Con el ataque de locura que le dió al dueño de Brotherhood hace unos meses atrás, tanto ésta como sus otras comunidades asociadas (como CineTV) quedaron abandonadas por completo. Es así como aprendí que, antes de apoyar una comunidad o proyecto, tengo que conocer primero al dueño y estar seguro de que no sufra de ningún trastorno mental que afecte el futuro del mismo proyecto.

Pero bueno, ya se acabó 2025, ya llegó 2026 con nuevas oportunidades y nuevas metas y objetivos. Uno de esos es duplicar la cantidad de HP que actualmente tengo (~2300 HP). Sinceramente, mi mayor sueño es conseguir ser Delfín (entre 5500 y 6500 HP) para este año, pero lo veo un tanto difícil, aunque no imposible del todo. Otra meta que tengo es conseguir los 72 de Reputación para este 2026. Para esto tendré que esforzarme en adoptar ciertos hábitos necesarios como lo es el publicar diariamente, por ejemplo. También me gustaría participar en más Hive Power Up Days este año, así que últimamente me he enfrascado en acumular $HIVE líquido para esto.

De entre mis objetivos secundarios o de menor importancia están el crear más contenido corto (Microblogging) en Hive. Últimamente me ha estado gustando mucho subir Snaps en PeakD, así que lo convertiré en otro nuevo hábito para este 2026. También me gustaría volver a subir contenido relacionado a la música, como hablar de mis canciones favoritas, por ejemplo. No prometo cambiar o variar mucho el tipo de contenido que comparto en Hive ya que hacer reseñas de películas y animes es lo mío, es lo que más me gusta. Para mí segundo aniversario en este gran ecosistema, me gustaría conseguir cierto progreso en cuanto a algunas de estas metas.
