Shield Bugs & Leafhoppers

Good evening to all the interesting insect lovers in this community. Today I will share with you all about two types of small animals that I found this afternoon while I was hunting for insects in the park.

I don't know for sure these two types of animals. Whether they are included in the insect category or not. But I think so. I have two types of insects to share here, each with two photos that I managed to shoot. These two types of insects are quite difficult to photograph, because of their active nature and constant movement.

^Leafhopper

Leafhoppers are insects that are quite easy to find, for example in gardens, parks, or other bushes. They have various colors, this one I found in brown.

Grasshoppers are also known as leaf-eating insects, it is no wonder that farmers consider them pests because they often eat plant leaves, vegetables for example. In scientific language, this leafhopper is called Melanoplus

Similar to grasshoppers. This shield bug or also called Stink Bug, also has several colors. This insect is also often referred to as agricultural air. Because it has a piercing and sucking mouthpart, it is phytophagous. Namely, a fruit sucker or also a leaf eater.

Pentatomidae is a family of insects belonging to the order Hemiptera, generally called shield bugs or stink bugs. Pentatomidae is the largest family in the superfamily Pentatomoidea, and contains around 900 genera and over 4700 species. As hemipterans, the pentatomids have piercing sucking mouthparts, and most are phytophagous, including several species which are severe pests on agricultural crops.
