Shield Beetle

Today I have a unique type of insect with an attractive green color, this small animal can also be said to be a type of beetle. Here we usually call it a shield beetle.

Because the population is large. This beetle is also easy to find in bushes, they perch on tree branches and leaves. Also included in leaf-eating insects.

In the macro photography display, this time I shot it from four different sides. Using a smartphone camera and the help of a 100 mm macro lens, I finally managed to take a good picture of it.

Shield beetles generally have several colors, such as green brown and some with red. They are called shield beetles because their bodies seem to use shields, and indeed their skin is a bit hard.

Shield beetles or Skutelleridae are also insects. They are a family of insects that belong to the order Hemiptera, which are also known as "true bugs" or true insects. Scutelleridae is one example of an insect that has unique and interesting characteristics, such as a distinctive body shape and the ability to emit an unpleasant odor as a self-defense mechanism.

That's one type of beetle or insect that is interesting and unique that I share here in the charm of macro photography.
