Red cotton bug

Greetings!
Today I will present a unique and certainly interesting type of insect to discuss. I found it in the bushes and was perched on the leaves of wild plants.

Red cotton bug is the common name for this small animal, and so far I have only found one color like it, which is orange with a mixture of black and black and white stripes on the chest.

This insect has high legs with two long proboscises.

Its Latin name Dysdercus cingulatus is:

a species of true aphid in the Pyrrhocoridae family, commonly known as the red cotton dye. This pest is a serious pest of cotton plants, adult aphids and older nymphs feed on newly growing cotton bolls and cotton seeds when ripe, transmitting the cotton dye fungus as they do so. source

By nature, this animal is not wild and is quite easy to observe, usually found in large groups and has intense mating habits.

That's a little review of this unique insect that I recorded in macro photography with my cellphone and the help of a 100mm macro lens. See you.
