On the edge of the lake, and found

At exactly 5 p.m. this afternoon, I had the opportunity to go to the lakeshore with my fishing gear. The location is not far from where I live, making it a perfect spot for fishing and to enjoy the peace and quiet of the beautiful lake. Once there, I baited my rod and cast it into the water. After waiting for a while, there was no movement on my line, so I left it there. It's also a good idea to find some objects to photograph along the lakeshore. Instead, I waited for a fish to catch my line.

On a dead tree not far from where I had originally set down my fishing rod, I noticed a mushroom growing there. It seemed the wood was old and brittle enough for the mushroom to grow on it. The mushroom had a hard texture, no stem, and simply grew attached to the wood. It was white with a hint of green, but it seemed to be just moss growing on the mushroom. There was also another type of small mushroom among the dead leaves.

I still managed to photograph this fruit. It's not actually a pine fruit. It's a spruce fruit (Picea spp.). Although both are in the conifer family and often look similar, the fruit looks nice and I think it's a great photo opportunity.

This is a snail shell I found right at the water's edge. It's a good idea to photograph it and include it here. Along the lake's edge, wildflowers like the one below also grow. Although only wildflowers, their flowers are no less beautiful.

The two different insects below were a bit tricky to photograph. That's the case with photographing moving objects, as they constantly move when approached. The first insect is a bee, and the second is a miniature dragonfly with a sea-blue hue. I found both of them right on the plants growing along the lake's edge.
